Description du projet
The health benefits of physical activity are many, and exercise appears to protect many women from bladder control issues. Yet in some cases, urine leakage in women can be aggravated by physical activity. This “exercise-induced urinary incontinence” is not well understood, both in terms of the underlying problem and how best to manage it. To better understand exercise induced urinary incontinence, we need to be able to measure the aggravating factors, the severity of symptoms and the strategies women use to avoid urine leakage. Yet, there are no high-quality questionnaires that meet this need. We are attempting to bridge this gap.
